[Matthew 24:4-8]
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For MANY WILL COME IN MY NAME, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 NATION WILL RISE AGAINST NATION, and KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM. There will be FAMINES and EARTHQUAKES and [PESTILENCES KJV] in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains [of sorrows KJV].

v4 = Jesus first warning to disciples. Take heed that no man deceive you. We must be careful in our walk with God.

v5 = In the Last Days, more and more people will pretend to be Jesus Christ. They will lead people astray.

v6 = More and more wars. As our military technology increases, each war gets more deadly and devastating than the previous ones.

v7 = In the previous century, we have 2 world wars. World War 1 and World War 2. Although we have many wars in the past, never before have the entire human race been fighting against one another at the same time [NATION AGAINST NATION]. In World War 2, basically every single country is at war. From Europe continent, to America continent, to Asia continent [KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM]. In the third and final World War 3 before the return of Jesus Christ, it will be the battle of Armageddon [Rev 16:16]

v7 = Famines. Despite the increase in agricultural technology advancements and food production, we now have more people starving than before.

v7 = Earthquakes. More and more earthquakes. The number and intensity of big earthquakes are also increasing. Each earthquake causing more property damage and loss of lives than each previous one. Remember the tsunami earthquake in Phuket, Thailand and Indonesia in 2004. And the tsunami earthquake in Japan in 2011.

The quake struck offshore at 2:46pm local time, triggering a tsunami wave of up to 10 metres which engulfed large parts of north-eastern Japan. The death toll is currently unknown, with fears that the current hundreds dead may well run into thousands.

v7 = Pestilences. Spanish flu in 1918 killed 15-20 million. In recent years, we have SARS in 2002. In 2020 this year, we have the biggest of them all, [C] [V] [19].

v8 = Jesus said, all that I have mentioned above, these are just the beginning.

Are we the generation to witness the return of our Lord Jesus Christ???
