23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

v23 = Do not be deceived when people tells us Christ is here or there

v24 = People claiming to be Christ are the false ones. But they will perform great miracles. These miracles could be performed using advanced technology that is not known or release to the general public. Many people, including Christians, after witnessing these “miracles” will fall into the trap of believing these false Christs and false prophets.

v25 = This is not the first time the disciples of Jesus had heard this warning. Jesus Christ had already told the disciples multiple times about this great deception.

v26 = [THEY] meaning false Christs and false prophets. Christ is not found in the desert. Christ is not found in hidden rooms. For He has resurrected and is risen. He is not found anywhere else except in heaven.

v27 = Lightning comes out from the heavens, so shall Jesus Christ appearance be from the heavens. Lightning strikes can be seen from very far away, so shall the coming of Jesus Christ be seen from a far distance away. Lightning appears in an instant. So shall the Son of Man appear in an instant.

v27= Loud thunders come after lightning. So His coming will be loud, be audible and be visible. Jesus Christ second coming will be global. No man on earth can miss it.
