2. TRUMPET BLOWN TO GET READY FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE
The blowing of the trumpet is associated with spiritual warfare. Jesus Christ is the “Lord of Hosts” or “Lord of Armies”. When the Spirit of God blows the trumpet, the church is to follow Him into battle. [Joel 2:1-16] Jesus is preparing to wage war against all sins. Jesus is preparing the church to invade “the land of promise.” The promised land is what Jesus has given the church to possess. [Matt 16:17-20]

3.TRUMPET BLOWN FOR JESUS TO RECEIVE HIS BRIDE
The sounding of trumpets is also associated with the rapture. This is the time Jesus will return for his bride [1 Cor 15:50-53] [1 Thes 4:16-18]. After Jesus returns for the second time, there is a wedding feast of celebration. Jesus is preparing us to celebrate!

[Rev 19:9] “Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb”
