The Hebrew word for trumpet is shofar. The Shofar Man in this video is blowing the yemenite shofar as used by Israel. Imagine the emotions and feelings experienced by the Israelites of the Old Testament. When they hear voice of the Lord heralding them to action through the trumpet call.

[OLD TESTAMENT FULFILLMENT]
1. Feast of Trumpets is the day where trumpets are sounded and blasted throughout the land of Israel. It is to proclaim a time of rest and no work can be done. [Lev 23:23-25]

2. Another usage of trumpets in the Old Testament is for warfare. Trumpets are blown to command the troops to enter into battle. The Old Testament in other passages speaks of God as the Lord of Armies [1 Sam 17:45] [Joel 2:1-11]

[NEW TESTAMENT FULFILLMENT]

1. TRUMPET BLOWN TO DECLARE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
The gospel of Jesus Christ is now being proclaimed and declared throughout the whole world. The mission of the church is to announce to the world that the day of salvation is now. And everyone, everywhere, all are called to come to Christ and to find rest for their souls. We, the church, are now the living testimony to declare the prophetic message of the Feast of Trumpets. We, the church, are to blast out with trumpets that Jesus Christ is Lord, King and Savior.
