In this episode, Mike Townsend speaks to David Hanson who is the founder and CEO of Ultra, a next-generation gaming and entertainment platform powered by blockchain. David has decades of experience founding companies, including operating as CEO for a 100+ million dollar game console project that was later acquired by Kingsoft.

His latest project, Ultra, has been in development since 2017 and the platform has been designed to bridge the gap between blockchain capabilities and the mainstream games industry. Ultra’s ecosystem is made up of various apps that allow players to enhance their gaming experience at every turn. Notable apps in the ecosystem include Ultra Games, a games distribution platform, the Uniq Marketplace, an advanced NFT marketplace that offers zero transaction fees, and the Ultra Wallet, Ultra’s very own cryptocurrency wallet.

Ultra is partnered with the likes of AMD, Ubisoft, Atari, and more to provide players and game developers with the tools to widen their gaming experience as it has never been done before.
