The TV networks and newspapers do not decide who wins. A declaration by F O X, C N N or Associated Press calling J O E president-elect is not legally valid in the court of law.

Electoral college voting results is what declares you as president-elect. Each state’s Electoral College officials meet in the state capital, to formally cast their votes for president and vice president on Dec 14th, 2020.
