This ancient palace is home to Herod the Great during New Testament times. The palace is called Herodium and is found near Bethlehem.

Why is King Herod called the Great? Not because he is a great person in character and virtues. He is called the great because he is a great architectural builder.

To understand the life of Jesus Christ, we have to know how He lived, where He lived and what happened when He lived.

God is showing us that everything in the Holy Bible is true and 100% verifiable. It is very powerful to see the stories in the Bible come to life with all these archaeological discoveries in the Holy Land of Israel. Biblical archaeology is fascinating as it supports all the historical facts in scripture.
