What is biblical significance and meaning of 10? Signifies law, responsibility, testimony and completion of order

10 times in Genesis chapter 1, the phrase “God said” is found. This is a testimony of God’s creative power.

God gave the 10 commandments to Moses. This is man’s responsibility to obey the 10 commandments.

During the 10th day of first month, a passover lamb is chosen. This shows a completeness of divine godly order. [Exo 12:3]

1. 10 generations from Adam to Noah [Gen 5]
2. 10 plagues upon Egypt [Exo chapter 7 to 12]
