Where are breastplates worn? On the upper body.

What is inside the upper body? All of our vital organs.

Which is the most important organ the bible frequently tells us to protect? The heart.

[Proverbs 4:23] Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

What is righteousness? Repenting of sins and asking for forgiveness. Then do what is correct according to God.

Whose righteousness are we depending on? Christ’s righteousness that protects and covers us. It is not our own righteousness.

[Philippians 3:9] and be found in him [Jesus], not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.

When do we wear the breastplate of righteousness? The moment we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord, King and Saviour.

[2 Corinthians 5:21] God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
